Description

Lake Wanaka is New Zealands fourth largest lake and gateway to Mt Aspiring National Park.

A wide range of attractions and adventure sports is all within reach of Wanaka. Take a scenic cruise on the Lake, sample locally made wines, or fish at one of the easily accessible spots. Alternatively, venture into the hills and mountains surrounding Wanaka. Skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, tramping and climbing are all available in this area.

The General English program is for people who want to improve their English communication skills. Each week lesson materials are taken from a range of topics with a New Zealand focus.

The course is function based. This means it uses practical language found in real situations in New Zealand or around the English speaking world. Our approach is based on the European Union’s Common European Framework of language learning.

Advanced and Intermediate courses available.

15 hours per week, monday to Friday 09:00-12:15

Topics inlude:

The course takes a multi skill approach, meaning you will cover reading, writing, listening and speaking. There will be weekly assessments to help us and you measure your progress.
