Lyceum's English Courses are at a fantastic location, on level 8, 131 Queen Street, Melbourne. It is the best possible location for an English Language centre, in the centre of Melbourne, the food, fashion, arts and sporting capital of Australia.
Our Queen Street premises are brand new as we just moved here in January 2009. They feature bright, modern classrooms, audiovisual equipment for language learning, internet workstations with free broadband internet access and kitchen facilities as well as a common room for students.
Our school offers full-time (20 hours per week) General English, IELTS Preparation and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses, which run from 8.45am- 1pm, Monday to Friday.
General English courses focus on communication activities in functional and situational contexts. It encourages students to speak with fluency and accuracy as well as develop the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
In addition, we organise free activities and outings such as bar nights, bowling, visits to the gallery and afternoons at the beach. Students can also book to share a weekend at Lyceum's beach house.
