English Language Institute, University of Bridgeport

Description

The English Language Institute at the University of Bridgeport offers intensive semesters in English for academic purposes for students from beginning to advanced ability. Classes meet for 21 hours a week and average 10 students in a class. Students may begin their studies in August, January, or May and continue for as long as they wish or until they graduate. Teachers are friendly and supportive, and trips are arranged for fun and introduction to local culture.

Student Services

ELI provides help for our students with their interactions with other university departments and outside services such as banks. ELI students have access to all University services such as a full-service library, recreation center, student clubs and activities, conversation partners, health services, and international student advising.

Information

ELI has a computer lab reserved for our students. Graduation from ELI meets the English language requirement of the University of Bridgeport academic programs. To ask about degree programs, contact admit@bridgeport.edu.
