The state's rural beauty is balanced by its close proximity to New York City and Boston, Massachusetts. It is an ideal location for students who enjoy quiet surroundings, but who wish to be near to some of the greatest cultural assets the United States has to offer.

The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) offers full-time and part-time English Language, Business English and American Culture instruction to international students and faculty, foreign professionals, and members of the Connecticut community.
