City College of San Francisco is located in the southwest corner of "everybody's favorite city" within easy access of bus and subway lines. San Francisco is one of the most beautiful and diverse cities in the world. IIS is close to all the major tourist attractions.

Intensive English for academic/general purposes, summer program, TOEFL preparation; the 4-level program meets 20 hours per week with classes in reading, reading skills, writing, grammar, communication and study skills; also available are electives in pronunciation, vocabulary, TOEFL preparation, American culture, American Short Story and academic listening. Student Newspaper class produces 2-3 issues each semester. Practice TOEFL tests are given throughout the semester and the Institutional TOEFL is given twice each semester.
