The Intensive English Program (IEP) at Colorado State University is located in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. The IEP offers language training to international students, both those seeking English for academic purposes and those wishing to improve their English language skills for business and professional reasons. Language instruction and TOEFL preparation is aided by an up-to-date computer and language lab with full access to the internet and email. Students from over 25 countries study in small classes at the IEP during each of the 7-week terms. Classroom instruction is complemented by a fully developed activities program providing community interaction and trips around Colorado.

The Intensive English Program (IEP) at Colorado State University is located in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. The IEP offers language training to international students, both those seeking English for academic purposes and those wishing to improve their English language skills for business and professional reasons. Language instruction and TOEFL preparation is aided by an up-to-date computer and language lab with full access to the internet and email. Students from over 25 countries study in small classes at the IEP during each of the 7-week terms. Classroom instruction is complemented by a fully developed activities program providing community interaction and trips around Colorado.

Student Services

The IEP provides a new student orientation with information about the community, university and American culture. Special activities including trips within Colorado, dinner parties, picnics, whitewater rafting, hiking, skiing. Students may become members of the Campus Recreation Center and/or participate in the intramural sports programs. A conversation group program with native-American speakers is available. A full range of counseling and advising services are also provided.

Additional Services

Conditional admission program with Colorado State University. "GATEway", a program that allows international undergraduate students to take CSU courses while completing the Intensive English Program. Institutional TOEFL is offered several times per year. An on-line writing course is also offered.
