HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING
Since 1981, WESLI has taught English to 15,000 students from over 130 countries. WESLI teaches standard Midwestern English, the same accent spoken in Canada and on U.S. national media.
STUDENT DIVERSITY
WESLI has a unique family-like and encouraging learning environment, with students from 25 to 30 countries every session. Multiple generations of families have come to successfully learn English at WESLI.
Most students plan to enter U.S. colleges and universities after WESLI. However, many students are business and other professionals, such as doctors, lawyers, politicians, educators and journalists. Other students study simply for personal enjoyment.
QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED TEACHERS
WESLI teachers have either a Masters in ESL or an ESL Certificate and minimum 5 years’ teaching experience. Many have taught in other countries.
VIBRANT LOCATION
WESLI is conveniently located in Madison, the capital of Wisconsin. Madison is home to the world-famous University of Wisconsin, with 40,000 students. For many reasons Madison is ranked nationally as one of the best U.S. cities to live in.
