The English Language Center (ELC) at the University of Denver offers full time intensive English language courses each quarter. Each of our quarters last 9 weeks and students are in class for 20 hours each week. Instruction is provided in reading, writing, grammar, listening, speaking and pronunciation. The ELC also offers its students a variety of learning and cultural experiences throughout each quarter.

The mission of the English Language Center (ELC) is to support the goals of the University of Denver by preparing English Language Learners with the necessary communicative and cultural competencies to be successful members of DU and other US institutions of Higher Education.
