The English Language Institute at CSU offers a certificate 20 hours/week, semester-long ESL program. We have four levels of instruction in core classes: Reading & Vocabulary, Grammar & Writing, Speaking & Pronunciation, and Listening & Notetaking. Students are given a placement test to determine their English proficiency level and progress at the start and end of each semester. All classes are taught by TESOL-certified instructors. Many of our students have passed the TOEFL and continued their studies in the United States. We also offer various cultural activities and events to our students and have a Conversation Partners program to help students further develop their language skills and learn more about life in the United States.
