COMPREHENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM (CEP) - 20 HOURS PER WEEKStudents who are serious about learning English and can dedicate 20 hours a week to classroom study would enroll in the Comprehensive English Program. The curriculum includes listening, speaking, reading, and writing plus computer lab practice. Group activities and authentic materials provide ample opportunities to use newly learned skills in real-life situations. Students are placed according to level: Introductory, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Classes are five days a week, Monday to Friday.This program covers the following:• English for Daily Life • Conversational English • Listening Comprehension • Speaking & Pronunciation • Reading Comprehension • Academic Writing & Grammar • Vocabulary & Idioms INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM (IEP5) - 15 HOURS PER WEEKThis program is for students who seriously want to improve their English with a curriculum that covers all major skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This program is designed to give you the greatest exposure to authentic materials and situations as possible so your English will improve in the shortest possible time. The computer lab provides valuable practice and exciting opportunities to communicate in different ways. Students are placed according to level: Introductory, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Our staff will assist students in locating safe and affordable housing in the local community. This is a good opportunity for the international students to experience the American way of life, practice English and build cross-cultural friendships. Each student is provided with a private furnished room with two meals included per day (breakfast and dinner) and Internet access, which is available upon student’s request. We are dedicated to ensuring our students have the best homestay experience with caring American families. Prices for the homestay placement range from $650 to $850, depending on the number of meals, internet connection and living area.The traditional home stay offers students - a private furnished bedroom- convenience to public transportation- hosts who are proficient in English- daily self-serve breakfast and lunch- nightly sit-down dinner with household members, so the students can practice their English- Hosts that are caring, and look out for the students needs- Opportunities for daily communication and interaction with Americans
