MiraCosta College is one of Californias comprehensive public two-year community colleges. The College has served the coastal area of North San Diego County for more than fifty years, offering a variety of programs and services to a diverse and changing domestic and international community. The Oceanside Campus of MiraCosta College, located on a scenic 168-acre hilltop, provides a panoramic view of the ocean and the coastal mountains. The College is only a few minutes from the beach and 35 miles north of the city of San Diego. The area offers easy access to many attractions and activities. In less than a day you can drive to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, the Hearst Castle at San Simeon, Death Valley National Monument, Yosemite National Park, or San Francisco.
