Students at Tamwood come from all points on the globe to Vancouver, Canada’s third largest city, well known as one of the world’s most beautiful and vibrant cities. Students can also study at our winter campus in Whistler, in the heart of the most beautiful place in the world. North America's number one winter sports resort allows student to study English in a high quality setting and enhance skiing or snowboarding skills.
The English Program offers 10/20/25/30 hours per week of quality instruction, available at seven different levels from Beginner to Advanced. It makes use of the integrated approach to language learning. Classes cover all of the essential language skills. The first period of the day focuses on language structure through grammer, reading and writing exercises. The second period focuses on language usage though discussions, presentations, listening, speaking and pronunciation and accent reduction exercises. Students can study between 2 and 48 weeks, starting on any Monday.

Tamwood has created two own unique curriculum which teaches all of the essential language skills: grammar, pronunciation, writing, reading, speaking and listening. The programs utilize Computer Assisted Language Learning (C.A.L.L.) to combine listening, speaking and reading in an interesting way.
