Devon English Language Homestay School, Ivybridge, UK is a small, friendly, independent English school run by qualified staff with many years teaching experience.

At the Devon English Language Homestay School, we offer 3 types of English course with an emphasis on conversational or functional English. The first course is for students between 18-30 years of age, the second is for students from 30 years of age upwards, and the third type of courses are our intensive courses – intensive English or English for Business or English for Law.

Our Accommodation:

You will stay in comfortable, single site accommodation with your teacher and up to 3 other students. Accommodation is Half Board, including breakfast and a light evening meal, and full board* for intensive courses.

Our Accommodation:

The accommodation and teaching are provided in one building so you do not have to travel to your lessons. This gives you more time to study and to do the things you want to do. You can choose from double, twin or single room accommodation whilst enjoying exceptional comfort and hospitality in a tranquil home-school and garden.

The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and an area for quiet study. Wi-fi is also available.

Your Stay:

Once here, you can relax knowing that everything is taken care of. Lessons are tailored to your particular language needs and a door to door service accompanies all excursions. Your teacher-host, will ensure that all of your learning and holidaying needs are provided for. You will stay in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of Dartmoor, and not far from the spectacular South Devon coast. Here, you will soon discover the benefits of small classes and extra time with your teacher-host.
