St Brelade's College is located on the picturesque island of Jersey, in the Channel Islands. The school is close to the small harbour village of St Aubin where you can find the adult residence, cafes, restaurants, bars, shop & essential amenities.
The school was founded in 1978 and is the only year-round language school in the Channel Islands accredited by the British Council which is reflected in our teaching standards.
St Brelade's College prepares trainees for the Trinity College London Cert. TESOL - one of the widely recognised teaching qualifications (accepted by the British Council & most language schools). The course runs for 10 weeks, twice a year starting in January and August. The course combines flexible online learning and face-to-face lessons to allow trainees to fit it around other obligations.
Our courses are intensive and practical, with the emphasis on hands-on teaching experience, together with tutorials on modern techniques and methodology which can be put into practice in the classroom.
What the course covers
Light continental breakfast provided (April-October only). Communal kitchen available. The newly refurbished Peterborough House is within 5 minutes walking distance of the school.
