Description

Beaconsfield is a historical market town near London and Heathrow Airport. The large number of cafes, restaurants and traditional pubs together with a wide range of high-street shops all add flavour to the local character of the town. Transport communications with nearby London are excellent. Beaconsfield has two distinct parts - the Old Town with its medieval church, weekly market, specialist shops, pubs and tea rooms, and the New Town, where the modern high-street shops, upmarket fashion stores, supermarkets and cafes are all located. The town is within the London 'commuter belt' with regular trains to London Marylebone mainline train station, taking around 20 minutes. Beaconsfield lies on the edge of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a protected area with magnificent woodlands and rolling hills.
