Denton is a small, safe, friendly, city, 30 km to Dallas, Texas. The IELI is located on the UNT campus, a university with 30,000 students and over 135 majors. At school breaks, students can easily travel to New Orleans, Florida, Mexico, and the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
application information:
Applications are received year-round. New courses begin 5 times yearly. Send application form, $75 non-refundable application fee, statement of financial guarantee, and original transcripts (plus English translation). Five types of applications are available: 1) IELI only, 2) IELI and UNT Undergraduate Conditional Admission (No TOEFL required) with option to apply to the Graduate Preparation Course to substitute for the GRE/GMAT VERBAL score, 3) IELI and Graduate Application (No TOEFL required; application processed after IELI completion), 4)UNT Undergraduate Admission (with 550 paper TOEFL/213 Computer TOEFL), 5) UNT Graduate Admission (with 550 paper TOEFL/213 Computer TOEFL).
