Program Description

The Institute offers intensive English and cultural orientation programs for international students, visitors, and professional and business people. During two 14-week semesters and three 9-week terms, students, from beginner to advanced levels, take 20 hours of instruction per week. Special workshops, field trips, and visits to the unique cultural institutions of New York City provide an orientation to American culture.

Fourteen-week semesters start in September and February. Nine-week terms start in mid-October, beginning of April, and mid-June. Applications are accepted year-round.
