All full-time CELOP students are guaranteed University housing if they apply for it. CELOP can provide information about homestays with American families and off-campus apartments.

With nearly 30,000 students, Boston University is the fourth-largest independent university in the United States. Often called the most international university in the world, BU is home to over 5000 international students and scholars from more than135 countries. From its peaceful waterfront parks to the urban amenities of Commonwealth Avenue, and from the historic Bay State Road townhouses to its state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms, there campus offers something for everyone.

Students can apply online at www.bu.edu/celop or can contact the Center to receive an application by mail or fax. The completed application must include a check or money order in United States dollars for $185 made payable to Boston University/CELOP. The $185 includes a $60 application fee, a $100 deposit toward your tuition, and a $25 charge for international express shipment of your acceptance materials. All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Additionally, please send photocopies of the personal data page(s) of your passport (including name, photograph, and date of birth) and a Financial Declaration from your bank, verifying availability of funds for your studies at Boston University/CELOP.
