Program Description

The Language Learning Center at Emily Griffith Opportunity School is the largest ESL program in Devner teaching over 3,000 students each year. Emily Griffith Opportunity School is part of Denver Public Schools and was founded in 1916. The students of the Language Learning Center represent over 40 countries and the teachers combine over 250 years of experience. We are Colorados Refugee ESL program, educating 700 refugees that resettle in Denver each year. We also offer Spanish classes, job-skills training and onsite customized training for local businesses.
