PROGRAM I : BeginningThis class is for the English language beginner with a basic understanding of English and basic conversational skills. The intensive program is ideal for the students who want a well rounded approach and want to learn English as quickly as possible for career or academic reasons.PROGRAM II : IntermediateThis class is for the English language learner with a transitional understanding of English and intermediate conversational skills.Vocabulary is enhanced through reading and writing exercises and conversation skills are improved upon through detailed dialogue, discussion and direction following.PROGRAM III : AdvanceThis class is for the English language learner with a nearly fluent understanding of English and advanced conversational skills. This level focuses less on grammatical concepts and more on complex sentence structure, vocabulary, writing, and professional-level dialogueTOEFL PreparationThis class is for the intermediate and advanced English language learner who plans to take the iBT TOEFL, a standardized test for non-native speakers wishing to transfer to a two- or four-year college in the U.S. The course focuses on the four elements of the TOEFL test: reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking.New! TOEIC PreparationOur students come to study in San Diego from all over the world. Majority is from Japan, Korea, Brazil, France, Germany, and many other non-English speaking countries. At SDUIS Intensive English Language Program you will learn American English, using the most current textbooks, tapes, videos, computer programs and other teaching materials, taught by the most experienced instructors. We want you to get the most out of your stay in San Diego. The IEP curriculum is designed to ensure that you make the quickest possible progress in your studies.
