We recommend English students stay with a homestay family at least for the first four weeks. This will give you a chance to get used to being in New Zealand. Living with a local New Zealand family will also give you many opportunities to practise your English skills. There are also limited places available in hostels on the campus and a short distance away. Some have meals provided and some allow students to cook for themselves.
