Established in 1987, Edenz is what in NZ is called a ‘private training establishment’ (PTE). Edenz has been registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) since 1989 and was one of the first schools in New Zealand and Australia to attain ISO 9002 quality standards (Q-Base). Edenz is a founding member of organizations such as APPEL & CRELS, a member of Study Auckland and the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, and a signatory to the Ministry of Education Code of Practice. It partners with Victoria University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia), and is a registered Trinity College (London, UK) provider as well. The Edenz campus is located in Newmarket, one of Aucklands main shopping centers. It is easy to find and close to all major banks, quality shopping, sport facilities, cinemas and international restaurants and cafes. It is a short walk to the Auckland Domain, a vast and beautiful inner city park. Because of its central location, transport facilities are also readily accessible. Over the years Edenz has established a very good reputation for its tuition and care of students. Edenz began with a General English program which continues to attract students from many parts of the world. Over the years the college has added ESOL Teacher Training, Film Making, as well as Business and Computing courses which lead to a full degree option. It also offers Internship options for those wanting an overseas working experience.
