ELI at New York Institute of Technology

Description

The English Language Institute at NYIT has two campuses. The Manhattan campus is in the very center of American life and culture, just around the corner from Lincoln Center. The Old Westbury campus in Nassau County offers the serenity of an-almost-rural setting while being just 30 minutes from Manhattan.

ELI provides the English language skills needed for full participating in academic, business and social settings where English is spoken. Non-credit courses in reading, writing, listening comprehension and speaking are offered on beginner through advanced levels. Students in high intermediate or advanced levels may take credit-bearing academic courses at NYIT. Classes are limited to 15 students; free tutoring is available; and social and cultural activities are scheduled on a regular basis. NYIT is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
