Fall and spring sessions are 14 weeks long; full-time enrollment is for 20 hours per week of classroom contact, plus labs and/or optional workshops, depend on the students level. The summer session is 12 weeks long, full-time enrollment is for 25 hours per week plus labs. An Academic Preparation Workshop is offered during the last three weeks of the summer, for the benefit of those who will be attending American universities in the fall. Placement is in separate classes based on the students proficiency in each skill. At Level V (Advanced), students typically take other courses within the university; they may also take a limited range of university courses for credit at lower levels, if they are proficient enough in at least one skill not to need a course in that area.In the Fall 2001, the curriculum will be structured a bit differently, but students at the advanced levels will still be able to take university courses for credit.
