Courses are designed in such a manner that skills are developed sequentially, with the English elements identified and taught in order of difficulty to include those necessary for English language success in the beginning, low intermediate, and high intermediate levels.

Iverson Institute offers comfortable class sizes to allow all students to get the individualized attention needed to be successful in learning the English language.

Program Summary The objective of the program is to help develop the skills of English as a Second Language for those students having existing knowledge, training, and/or skills and to remove the English Language barrier, allowing graduates to utilize existing vocational skills.

The purpose of the program is to focus on development of listening, reading, writing, speaking (conversation), and grammar at all levels of the curriculum and to develop employment seeking skills necessary to compete in the existing market.

The approximate time for completion of the English as a Second Language program is fifty six (56) weeks. Academic weeks are defined as actual weeks in attendance excluding holidays, school breaks, and inclement weather days.

Course Completion dates are subject to attending 18 hours a week.
