Program Description

The Intensive English Program offers intensive, focused instruction for 20 hours every week. This program includes work in Listening Comprehension, Reading and Writing. An advanced level combines all of these for more in-depth academically oriented training. All the classes are non-credit.

available housing options:

Housing is available on a limited basis in the University's Sandburg Halls. Interested students should indicate the need for housing on their application/registration form. A housing contract will then be mailed. Students should request housing as far in advance as possible to be sure they will have a place. A variety of room and board plans are available ranging from $1425 to $2500 per semester. An advance payment must be submitted with the housing contract. As an alternative, the Intensive English Program office will assist students in finding off-campus housing. Interested students should plan to arrive early to make appropriate arrangements.
