Program Description

Our Intensive English Program is a multiskill program that prepares students, depending on their interest and the length of their stay, to gain familiarity with American culture and/or enter an American college or university. Within a framework that provides for the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, students' special needs and interests are met. Typically, there are classes in conversation, TOEFL preparation, current events, idiomatic English, business English, American customs, cultural resources of Los Angeles, novels and computer literacy. Students in the semi-intensive program participate in the same classes on a part-time basis.
