The Residence Life Program at Wilson College supports students in their academic pursuits, actively contributing to the personal growth and development of each student through co-curricular activities. Wilson Colleges residential philosophy rests on the belief that residence hall living enhances a students education by enriching an individuals academic, social and personal growth.
Residence Life fosters this environment through initiatives that promote the ideals of respect, understanding and community. Furthermore, it is the belief of this department that diverse students can learn to appreciate and nurture one another, as well as themselves, through residence hall living. The Residence Life program seeks to provide satisfactory quality facilities which enable students to pursue educational goals in a challenging, supportive and safe environment.
Residential students at Wilson College are centrally located to the library, dining hall, post office, bookstore, academic buildings, security, and all the facilities, programs, and people to help students adjust and prosper.
On-campus accomodations within the residence halls are available to full-time degree seeking students. Students are required to live in campus housing unless permission to do otherwise is granted by the Dean of Students. First year students and sophomores can expect to be placed with a roommate. Housing for married students is not available.

Wilson is located in south-central Pennsylvania in the Borough of Chambersburg, with a population of 20,000. Chambersburg offers a variety of cultural activites such as concerts, community theater, films, parks and recreational facilities. Hospital and medical facilities are located in Chambersburg, while the campus offers its own Health and Wellness Center.
Central Pennsylvania is rich in American history and is near to several historical sites related to the American Civil War (1860s).
Wilson is closely connected to the Central Pennsylvania region - benefiting both our neighbors and our students. The Community Riding Program, the School of Dance, our childcare center, and student volunteerism are just a few examples of how Wilson and the community are working together.
