Program Description

The US Business English sessions are one-on-one tutorial conversations with a native US English speaker. The program occurs through distance education.The benefits of the sessions are two fold. For the inpatriate (i.e, person working in the US from another country), it provides them with the opportunity to work toward solving communication issues in a risk free environment. For companies who choose to sponsor this service for their inpatriate, it provides a low cost way of supporting your employee. Many companies have to go through the painful process of prematurely terminating the inpatriates US assignments due to poor English and unfamiliarity with the cultural norms. This service is available to individuals and organizations.

Distance Education. The student has a 1 hour session with a tutor via telephone. The student will also use other electronic mediums (e-mail and internet).
