Program Description

The Intensive English Program has 8 levels of English study, from beginner to college preparatory. 17.5 of the 25 hours of study each week are devoted to core English skills and 7.5 hours are devoted to electives. Electives include: TOEFL Preparation, Composition, American Culture, Business English, Life skills, Conversational English and more.

Our center at Oxnard College is located in Oxnard, California on the beautiful California coast. The suburban environment allows for a relaxed pace. The nearby beaches make surfing, swimming and other ocean sports popular after-school activities.

application information:

Students must send a completed application, a $100 registration fee, a $100 tuition deposit (applied toward the first month of tuition), and a financial statement showing that they have enough money to pay for their studies, accommodations, and other expenses (approximately $2,500). Overseas applicants should apply 4 weeks before the term of enrollment.
