Program Description

The English as a Foreign Language program is a noncredit, intensive program designed to improve English proficiency for academic, personal, or professional purposes. Two fifteen week semesters and a ten week summer session are scheduled. Twenty hours of classroom time and two to four hours of computer language laboratory are included per week. Beginning, intermediate, advanced, and college transitional levels. Comprehension, conversation, structure, reading, and composition are included. Students in the college transitional level are allowed to take two or three college credit courses when they apply through the admissions office.
