20 hours of instruction per week plus conversation groups and laboratory practice. 16-week Intensive English Program (2 Sessions): August to December and January to May. 8-week Summer Intensive English Program (1 Session): June and July. 4-week Summer Orientation Program for Graduate Students (1 Session): July (5-20 hours of instruction per week). Five proficiency levels are offered, from beginning to advanced, and an individualized writing course at the sixth level. Courses in Speaking & Understanding, English Structure, Reading, and Writing are offered at all five levels.
