application information:

1- Submit a completed Application Form for each applicant. 2- Submit a copy of your passport.(if you already have one) If you are currently traveling within the U.S.A, you need to also submit a copy of the I-94 form attached to your passport. 3-Submit an official bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover your courses and living expenses for your intended period of study at Harvest Institute. If your bank is outside of the U.S.A., please make sure your bank statement has an official English translation with its balance converted into U.S. dollars. **If your study is funded by a sponsor, an Affidavit of Support, stating that your sponsor will be sponsoring your studies and living for your intended period of study in the USA, is required. The affidavit of support should be signed by your sponsor and submitted with your application. If your sponsor currently resides in the USA, he/she must be a legal resident. **If you choose homestay as your housing option, please also submit a Homestay Application form. 3- Make payments as required on the Application form. We accept cash, checks from a U.S. bank, international traveler's checks, Credit card and money transfer. We will give you our bank information upon request. If you cannot come to apply in person, send all documents via E-mail, Mail or Fax. 4- If you are not in the USA, you need to also pay the $200 SEVIS fee (I-901) to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. You can choose to visit the SEVIS website: www.fmjfee.com and pay there directly. You can also choose to pay $225 to us and we will assist you in filing the SEVIS form I-901. This fee only applies to F-1 students (F-2 spouse or children do not need to pay this fee). As soon as we receive all the above-mentioned documents we'll process your application. If approved and accepted, you will receive an I-20 form. Note: An I-20 form is only issued after the student establishes proof of financial ability to come to the USA and study. We do not issue visas for entry into the United States of America. Visas are issued by the American Consulate or Embassy in the student's country of residency. Please consult your local American Consulate or Embassy to enquire about the procedures and documents required to apply for an F-1 visa.
