Program Description

The ESL program at National College (http://national-college.edu) is for students whose native language is not English and who want to improve their TOEFL score and prepare to succeed in U.S. Colleges, or who wish to improve their English language skills. Students begin speaking English on the first day of class. Students will improve listening, speaking, writing, reading and grammar skills. Program Requirements Students must complete two, 8-week terms for each level. Each term includes 20 class hours + 2 lab hours each week. Students are expected to complete 2 hours of homework for each class hour. Tuition and Fees The cost per 8-week term: $2,550. Textbooks are included in the program. One-time fees include application fee ($125), placement testing fee ($50), and international courier fee ($75, if applicable). and Per term fees include activity fee ($185), technology fee($65), transit fee ($20), and TOEFL exam fee ($50 optional). Additional Services & Programs The ESL program provides an array of activities and services for students, including trips to local cultural attractions and shopping excursions; an English conversation club; an international club; housing assistance; free tutoring; airport transfers.
