Six levels ranging from beginning to advanced enable a student to begin and progress according to his/her abilities. The curriculum includes instruction in English reading, writing, structure, vocabulary building, listening comprehension, pronunciation and oral expression. the amount of time and depth of treatment of the topics in the different skill areas vary according to the level of the class. Library skill, TOEFL preparation, note taking and writing are emphasized at the advanced levels.

The IELP application form and affidavit of support may be printed out from our web site and returned to our office. An I-20/IAP-66 will not be issued until your file is complete. A complete application includes: the IELP application; original (or certified copies) of your financial documentation (this applies only for those who wish to obtain an I-20 from this office); $35 application fee (check made payable to Temple University--do not send cash!). If you are transferring form another institution within the United States you must have a transfer recommendation form completed.
