Program Description

Here at SOLEX College, we value our students. Our diverse population of international students has a variety of goals and motivations for studying English, so we have created programs to meet all of these needs. We offer three different programs within our ESL department: 1. Our regular Intensive English Program is a great mix of academic and functional English and is perfect for those students who want to get the highest quality of study in 18 hours per week. Solex College’s Intensive English Program (IEP) is designed to foster the development of English proficiency in a high-energy environment. 2. Our Optimum English Program gives students the opportunity to study in the classroom for 30 hours per week, expanding their learning to include more practice with conversational English, grammar acquisition, and as an added bonus, a class where students can learn more about the culture and history of the United States. 3. Finally, we have an Advanced Studies program for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge of English to the highest level possible. Students in this program will study great writers of this country in American Literature. Also included in the Advanced Studies program is our TOEFL Express, a comprehensive and intensive preparation for the TOEFL exam, taught by quality instructors who will get you ready for university studies
