UNCG, one of the 16 campuses of the University of North Carolina, is located in a quiet, residential area about two miles from downtown Greensboro. The university has doctoral and masters programs, as well as undergraduate programs. The MBA program, School of Nursing, School of Education, School of Music, and Sports Science programs are especially good. UNCG has an excellent soccer team. Greensboro is a family-oriented city, safe, midway between beaches and mountains, with good airline connections.
