ACE - American Collegiate English

Program Description

Located on the Grossmont College campus, the American Collegiate English Program (ACE) is a non-credit intensive English program that provides English and TOEFL preparatory instruction to non-native speakers who wish to improve their English skills in order to attend a college or university in the United States.We offer five eight-week sessions per year, and each session provides twenty hours a week of English instruction. When a student finishes the ACE Program and fulfills the ACE conditional enrollment standards or receives a 45 score on the TOEFL iBT, s/he may be admitted to Grossmont College as an officially enrolled student. At the time an ACE session ends, a Grossmont session begins, making the transition to Grossmont an easy one.
