Accent Reduction

Program Description

Foreign accent reduction enables people who speak English as a second language to pronounce English sounds more accurately and use English stress patterns and/or intonation to a greater extent. Whether you are working or studying in Calgary, you may be able to benefit from this foreign accent reduction program. Clients receive one hour of training per week. Clients should be prepared to take between 10 to 15 lessons. Between each training lesson, the client MUST complete a few hours of "homework" per week in order to improve. This involves practicing the exercises introduced during the lesson. The trainer provides all materials and the cost of materials is included in the lesson fee. The main objectives of this training are to achieve significantly improved pronunciation and permanent accent reduction.
