Camber College is a small, friendly school located in Powell River, BC. We offer a wide variety of quality English courses at reasonable prices. All classes are small (maximum 8 students), guaranteeing each student personal attention. We have a very strict English-only rule at all times both in the school, and on all school trips and activities. Camber College offers five levels, from low-beginner to advanced. All programs are designed to give students practice using English in real-life situations. We also offer weekly activities and a monthly trip carefully designed to develop students’ speaking and listening skills. All Camber College students have the opportunity to make a Canadian friend, practice speaking English, and learn more about Canadian culture by participating in our Canadian Conversation Class. Students also have the chance to practice speaking with Canadians while volunteering for a Canadian organization. With Camber College learning doesn’t stop when you leave the classroom! We have many different programs to fill the needs of every ESL student and all this in a wonderful community that is eager to embrace people from other cultures.
