Cornwall Executive English
Program Description:
A unique learning experience in one of England's most beautiful counties. We offer English homestay tuition in a qualified teacher's home. We specialise in General English for adults, and in particular in English for business and professional purposes. Minimum age 25 years, minimum stay one week.
All courses are individually prepared to ensure that we meet your specific needs and requirements. We offer 30 x 45 minute formallessons over five days in our specially equipped training room (22.5 hours per week). The training room is then available at all other times to our clients for private study, rehearsal of presentations or work on special projects.
We are available at all other times for informal conversation and discussions, so that you are practising speaking and listening to English all day long. It is total immersion in the language from breakfast time to bedtime.
Gill Vivian, the teacher, has 25 years' experience in commerce before she started teaching English, and is ideally situated therefore to assist you with English for business and professional purposes. Sales, marketing, change management, busines process re-engineering are all specialities.
We also offer a sport and study visit option (15 hours per week) if you wish to combine your learning with your favourite sports and some visits to interesting sites in the area.
You stay with us as a friend, and take part in all of our social activities. You experience a unique way of life in a particularly beautiful part of Cornwall.

You have your own bedroom with private bathroom facilities. All meals are taken with the family. Meals are often eaten in the garden in the summer. Wine served on most evenings. The house is just a few minutes walk from the town.

Padstow is a working port on the north coast of Cornwall. Newquay Airport (4 British Airways flights per day to and from London Gatwick Airport and one Ryanair flight per day from London Stansted) is just 15 minutes by car. We are therefore very accessible by air. London trains stop at Bodmin Parkway, 15 minutes by car.
