Program Description

CL English offers a range of English language courses to suit the varying needs of our English language students. Course options include General English Courses, Business English Courses, Examination Preparation Courses, Skills Classes, Individual Courses, Full time and Part time courses. Our full time courses are divided into Semi-Intensive (15 hours per week), Intensive (20 hours per week) and Super Intensive (30 hours per week). Our courses are designed specifically to suit your needs. Our classes are divided into grammar lessons and skills workshops. These sessions will cover a wide variety of issues and topics and will allow for student led discussions in which you are invited ask your teacher to explain something in more detail, or ask about any other topic or issue relevant to the course. English language courses at CL English take place between 9:30am and 8pm Monday to Friday and there are various timetable options including morning, afternoon and evening timetables. Student Residence Students can book a bed in a twin, triple or quadruple room in our comfortably-furnished school residence. Rooms are equipped with shared desks, wardrobes and storage space for clothes and books with all rooms equipped with a fridge. Shared bathroom facilities and toilets and a fully-equipped kitchen is available. Bed linen and kitchen utensils are provided but students are asked to bring their own towels. A 24-hour reception team is always on hand to guarantee students safety as well as provide advice & information. A common room with freeview TV and internet access, hot & cold drinks and snack machines is available. Host Family Accommodation Host Family or Homestay accommodation with an English speaking family in London is an excellent way to maximise your opportunities to practice speaking in and listening to English in a natural environment. All of our host families are carefully selected for their sympathetic approach to the needs of international language learners & students and are inspected on a regular basis to ensure that they meet Association of British Language Schools standards. A choice of board type is available with families throughout London including breakfast only, breakfast & dinner (half board), breakfast, packed lunch & dinner (full board) or self-catering (students can use family kitchen facilities to prepare their own meals). Homestays can be arranged for a minimum of one week. All of our host families are based within 45 minutes maximum travelling distance from school. Homestay accommodation is available in London zones 2 to 4. The price depends on the zone that you live in and also on the type of board that you require. You will not be placed with another guest of the same nationality unless you specifically request us to do so.

From Victoria, take the District or Circle line to South Kensington and then change to the Piccadilly line to Northfields. From Heathrow Airport: Take the Piccadilly line to Northfields. From Gatwick Airport: Take a bus or train (Gatwick Express is the fast one) to London Victoria station and then take the District or Circle line to South Kensington and change to the Piccadilly line to Northfields. From St Pancras (Eurostar): Take the Piccadilly line to Northfields.
